Security Watch: Give public biometrics the finger – CNET reviews
Read the article then read this blog.
My view is its not safer to use public biometrics for sure,if they start using, there will be several security issues. Its easier to get into your secure files or area easier..bcz everyone knows your fingers or ur retina or may be even ur DNA is the password to all the doors,So a crook comes and puts a gun and then run away with your finger and everything goes with that.
When this system comes into place..everyone should start protecting themselves physically from miscreants and that will be a funny world if it happens..then damn you can’t even have a small cut in your thumb
,if it happens then your are screwed for rest of your life..
,and you might end up waiting in long queue inorder to change your fingerprint from one finger to other.
Although can be used for limited use like for opening a secure document or probably for some james Bond stuff..not good for Pubic use.
