Man from Earth – a movie to watch

Man from Earth is one of amazing movies that I have seen in my life.  I’m not even sure how the writer of this movie came with a concept like this when we humans forget what we ate yesterday and don’t know what will happen in the next few days.

It has no action,no graphics just arguments going on between a group of scientist and man that was awesome to watch and listen. Well I’m actually feeling productive after watching such a thought provoking movie.

My mind is already wandering around like crazy, hopefully I will get some sleep.

Inception – a programmers nightmare

Yesterday  I watched the Inception and it is one of the best movies that I have seen in a while with all those jumps between multiple dream states and keeping track of the flow of the movie  engages your mind constantly. It’s quiet possible that people won’t follow the movie even if they miss a few minutes of the movie.

It was like trying to figure out a bug in a 5 year old Spaghetti coded application. If you miss a few steps then you have to start from the beginning.

If you like the movies like Matrix, Identity and Memento then you would certainly enjoy it.

Waiting to buy the DVD during Thanksgiving :)

Stop Rocking when I’m asleep..

Just woke up to the news on radio that there was a 4.4 earthquake near Los angles and I didn’t even feel a bit  although I see a few entries from Redlands in the did you feel site.

Well gotta move the bed away from the windows, lets hope I do it by next year. May be I should use twitter for these kind of posts..

too many list of things of to do and too sleepy as well..time for a quick nap between the snoozes and blogging..

What happens to the Doctorates?

Well the news is out the Govt. of India is derecognizing 44 so called deemed universities in India due to lack of infrastructure facilities. Finally some one in the Education department recognized it and blew the whistle.

Although I didn’t study in any of these universities but I have visited some of them during my UG time and they weren’t gr8 even then so I’m gonna assume world didn’t become flat in last 5 years.

An example for the so called deemed university standard is when some universities awarded doctorates to some south indian actors just like a freebie (Google it).

So will these actors return the so call doctorates since these universities are no more universities?

I hope at least from now on people think twice before accepting any kind of doctorates just for the fun of it. I’m sure actors work hard as well but Please don’t mix academics and acting it doesn’t go well keep them separate.

Oscar looks good with A.R.Rahman than with Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Doesn’t it?

I came across the picture of a chimpanzee.Not sure whether it looks like me or I look like a chimpanzee.Now I beleive humans evolved from monkeys…

He Loves Me,He Loves Me Not

He Loves Me,He Loves Me Not is a wondeful french movie,in which Audrey Tautou acts as a Art Student who is insanely in love with a married doctor.She does wat she has to do,but the way the director explains the two sides of the story wrt to Audrey and the doctor was simply superb.

I’m Sure many of u would have seen a better version of this type of stories,but for me this movie constantly reminds me of Tamil Movie Virumandi,12B which have the same kind of story delivery and events confusing the viewer.

I took this movie just to watch Audrey,there was not enough of her in this movie,so a little disappointed.“Am I crazy abt her or just in love with her…”

I went to this Movie with gr8 expectation,it disappointed me very much.I was expecting a good performance from Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou they too failed.These 2 actors are known to carry the movies on their shoulders but in this movie,they were just actors who are caught in the situation.

  • If ur going for this movie based on the cast..then u better drop it.
  • If u don’t know abt christianity.then u better don’t go..its like greek and latin.May be thats the reason I didn’t like it or enjoy it.But my friend enjoyed it.

On the Whole I am giving a 6/10 for this movie and the movie is not for people who don’t know christianity.

Fateless -(Sorstalans

After watching “Downfall”-a movie abt Hitlers last days as a Fuhrer,I started liking foreign Language movies.“Fateless” was next to “Downfall” at blockbuster,its a movie abt a hungarian jew boy who is arrested and sent to german concentration camps where he undergoes all the mistreatments at the camps.

I liked the last few scenes very much,when he returns back to hungary after the WW2 is over.Everybody ask him “Was it really Dreadfull?”,but he doesn’t answer and decides that whenever some one asks him abt the concentration camp,he will say abt the best moments he enjoyed with his friends than the ordials he met.

I really liked the movie,if u know german its well and good otherwise its hard to follow the english subtitles with german audio in the background.

If you are bored and got lots of patience,then watch this movie..its a good movie..to watch and most of the situation are from life..I beleive this is real life story..watever this movie is worth spending 2 hrs..
